We are Homestead, a creative studio founded by Eric & Ellen Pieper. Our paths crossed while cutting our teeth at the innovative and compassionate startup, TOMS. It's there we realized our shared desire to use our humble skills for the betterment of the world around us.

Life sent us in different directions, and years later, brought us back together. This we took as a cue to chase our common loves: the mountains, the good-doing, each other. We followed the call far enough away to clear our heads, but close enough to stay present, and found ourselves comfortably tucked into the mysterious woods and mountain mist of Asheville, North Carolina.

Here we breathe in the richness of Appalachian craftsmanship and allow it to mold us. We marry tradition with modern design. Function with form. Advertising with honesty. We make work that elevates communities, with a sturdy foundation of truth, strength and curiosity. We build brands that have an honest reason for being. And thus, we help grow brands that endure.
