Thanks for a fun ride, Longreads! While I’m sad my time here has ended so quickly - I’m very thankful that this brief gig allowed me to really spread my wings as an editorial illustrator (something I’ve always been wanting to get more into). I also learned a lot about the written word - and walk away amazed by having the chance to peek behind the scenes of how a writer and editor make magic happen. I’m wishing the best for all of you as you work to grow a new version of Longreads - or find other outlets for your unique talents. As for me, I’ll now just be applying a more focused effort to the design and branding side of my business - and ask that you’ll all keep me in mind for any future opportunities with design or illustration (click the logo in the upper left to visit my main site).
