Gathering of the Clouds

We were asked to design a poster for an end-of-year party for Asheville Design Salon, a network of local designers. Given that the party was being thrown in honor of local design talent, we thought it only right that the poster incorporate the variety of work the party was celebrating.

So we designed the initial artwork, separated it into abstract 3-inch squares - and asked other designers to re-interpret the square in their own way (without them knowing what the full poster looked like). Then we simply stitched all the artwork together to form this collective creative tapestry.
